Training

OBJECTIVES

At the end of the training, user will be able to conduct a pavement structure design following recommendations of the French rational method.
This is also a good way to evaluate the software features and analyses options.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND ?

Any technician or engineer in the field of pavement structures. No prerequisites.

AGENDA

  • 9h00-9h15 : Welcome of participants
  • 9h15-10h30 : Basics of French rational method
  • 10h30–11h00 : Introduction to ALIZE-LCPC software
  • 11h00–12h30 : Examples (1)
    • - Tutorial from the French rational method guide
      - Flexible pavement
  • 12h30–13h30 : Lunch break
  • 13h30–17h00 : Examples (2)
    • - Bituminous pavement
      - Frost-thaw checking
      - Simplified method for pavement strengthening
  • Other examples
    • - Pavement structure submitted to heavy special load
      - Composite pavement

OBJECTIVES

Attendees will access a higher level of use with the software ALIZE-LCPC: damage analysis, heavy loads...

Types of training

ANALYSE MECANIQUE

Itech provides well established courses in pavement structural design for a good use of ALIZE software.

Several programs are proposed

  • - Level 1: basics of the pavement structures design
  • - Level 2: Expert applications
  • - Level 3: Back-calculation of deflection tests
  • - Level 4: Airport pavement structures design
Other trainings can be tailored at customer’s request.

AGENDA

Nota : all these training are in French language

Level 1 : Starting with ALIZE-LCPC to be defined
Level 2 : Expert applications to be defined
Level 3: Back-calculation of deflection tests to be defined
Level 4: Airport pavement structures design to be defined

COSTS

  • 1st day: 850 € (without VAT) for Level 1: Getting started.
  • 2nd day: 1 040 € (without VAT) for Level 2: Expert applications.
  • 3rd day: 1 100 € (without VAT) for ALIZE: Airfield pavement Module.
